These paintings are from the Colonial/Enlightenment period 1700's.  I feel that it is helpful to understand a period in history by looking at the art of the time.  Look over these pictures and tell me in 2 to 3 sentences what you believe was important to people during this period.  I don't want what the books tell you.  I want to know what YOU see.  Your opinions are your own and will not be counted as wrong.  I AM looking at grammar, complete ideas and creativity of thought.  DUE WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 26..
