You will learn about many aspects related to the country of India.  You will need to read each step carefully.  Make sure that you follow all of the directions.  Have fun as you learn about India.

You will need a pen or a pencil and your worksheet.

1.   Begin your adventure - Take a trip with this family as they show you five different areas of India.  Click here to begin.  Make sure you start with Mumbai, work left to right and finish with The River Ganges.  Use the five presentations to locate the answers to your questions on your worksheet.  Click the back button to return to the main screen so you can select the next topic.

3.  Explore the Taj Mahal.  Take this virtual tour.  Listen to the narrator.  Click on the orange circles to see more.  Move your mouse around to spot the arrows.  Click on the arrows and learn more.

4.  Learn more about Mahatma Ghandhi.  Why was he a pivotal world figure?

5.  Visit the CIA factbook on India.  Write down 10 new things about India that you have learned by viewing this website.   Pick an interesting fact from each section.  What happens if you click the book icon?

6.  National symbols of India  - Click on each symbol to learn about it.  Read carefully.   Take notes on the side or back of your paper.  Draw your favorite symbol and tell why you picked this symbol.  Also, explain its role in India.
