• Science for 8th grade is an Earth and Space Science curriculum including a Health and Human Sexuality Education Unit. 

• Grading elements include

  • Class Activities
  • Homework, reading, vocabulary, objectives, and review. 
  • Special Projects (Chapter Challenges)
  • Test and quizzes 
• Students are required to bring their materials to class each day. Required materials include:
  • pencils
• classwork/homework folder
• looseleaf paper
• colored pencils
• ruler

• Ordinary rules of behavior apply and students will have increasing consequences for continuing misbehavior

• Students may only be permitted to leave class during class time to visit the clinic or the restroom.  Students are encouraged to take care of restroom requirements before arriving in class.
