1. Group Claymation Project

-Come up with a SIMPLE idea

-Storyboard it! (Get approval from Ms. Farber)

-Create characters and background

-Shoot scenes

-Use Adobe Premiere to Edit

-Convert final product into an AVI

               OR

Lego Robotics Groups

-Sort lego pieces and begin building

2. "What's my Future Career?" project

Using Image Blender or Adobe Photoshop Element create a picture with yourself included as to what your future career will be. 

-(ex. Doctor - could be standing in front of a hospital or in an operating room. Cut your head out and put it on a picture of a surgeon; President of the United States-at the white house or giving a speech to the news media; Lawyer or a Judge;- in a courtroom.

-Be Creative!! Picture should show you in your work environment. -Must include your name and your career written on the picture ..." John Doe future Doctor"

-Make sure you set your canvas size to  8 x 11

-Print to 506

3. Computer Programming

-Explore Alice

  • Drawings that Move - learn some tips about creating flipbooks (don't miss the cute sample at the bottom of the page)
  • Post-It Theater - this site features flipbooks that were created using post-it notes
  • Flippies - this commercial site is trying to sell flipbooks, but it does include a movie that shows how a flipbook works.  The site also includes a brief history of flip books.
